LetsWheelIt™ ("we", "our", or "us") provides tools for options screening, analytics, and education. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, application, or related services ("Services").   • Authentication information via our provider (we do not see your raw password)
  • Plan tier (Free, Pro, Elite) and subscription status

When using the scanner and related tools, we may collect:

  • Selected tickers and scan settings (mode, safety, DTE, etc.)
  • Saved presets and preferences
  • Paper trade logs or notes (if you choose to store them)

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We may automatically collect technical and usage information when you use the Services, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device and operating system information
  • Referring URLs and basic interaction logs

We use this data to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

IP Addresses & Rate Limiting

We may temporarily collect and store your IP address and related technical information for:

  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Rate limiting anonymous usage
  • Detecting automated or abusive activity
  • Operating, maintaining, and protecting the Services

We do not use IP addresses for marketing, advertising, or profiling. IP-based logs are retained only as long as necessary for these purposes (typically 24–48 hours), after which they are deleted or anonymized.

Cookies & Local Storage

We may use cookies and browser local storage to:

  • Keep you signed in
  • Remember your preferences and scan usage
  • Support security and abuse prevention
  • Measure basic product usage and performance

LetsWheelIt™ does not run third-party advertising cookies.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect third-party services, we may receive:

  • Authentication details from our auth provider (e.g., Clerk), such as verified email and basic profile info.
  • Payment-related information from our payment processor (e.g., Stripe), such as subscription status and partial billing details. We do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve LetsWheelIt™
  • Process scans and deliver results
  • Manage authentication and your account
  • Enforce plan limits (Free, Pro, Elite)
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you
  • Monitor performance and reliability
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

We may use aggregated and anonymized data for analytics, benchmarking, and product development. Aggregated data does not identify individual users.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Services, such as:
    • Authentication (e.g. Clerk)
    • Payments (e.g. Stripe)
    • Hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Vercel, Render, Neon)
    • Email and communication tools
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LetsWheelIt™, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. In general:

  • Account and profile data are retained while your account is active.
  • Billing and subscription records are retained as required for tax and accounting.
  • IP-based logs for rate limiting and security typically expire within 24–48 hours.
  • Scan history or presets (if available) are retained until you delete them or close your account.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption
  • Secure authentication via Clerk
  • Limited retention of IP and security logs
  • Rate limiting and abuse detection on APIs

However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong password, keeping credentials confidential, and notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Update or correct your information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Export your data in a portable format

7. Children's Privacy

LetsWheelIt™ is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
